BIG GREEN WEEK
Big Green Week is Bristol's annual festival of sustainability, running for over five years. The project was worked on by one of us in 2015, but expanded out as a team project for the festival in 2016.
With Bristol funding cuts, Big Green Week now needs to be a self-sustaining venture. We were given a more limited resource and a low marketing budget to plan and carry out a social media marketing campaign in 2016.
A huge 29.4% of website traffic arrived directly from social media demonstrating the success of the digital presence and campaign.
Campaign reach (impressions) totalled over 750,000 from March through June – an improvement on the previous year despite less resource.
The content was engaged with over 10,000 times on social media.
The net community following Big Green Week grew by over 1,000.
