We’re a digital marketing start-up based in Bristol that work exclusively with social, environmental and creative projects and organisations. We’re looking for a Senior Digital Account Manager to join our growing team of four.

As a Senior Digital Account Manager and part of our growing team, you’ll be managing and delivering campaigns for some the UK’s finest social, environmental and creative projects. It’s an exciting time to be joining us, as we’re still in our first year as a company, giving you a great opportunity to play a part in and even steer our future.


As a Senior Digital Account Manager, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with a range of our clients. You will understand their business and the industry they operate in. You will understand their strategy, their challenges and their goals and you will look for opportunities where If Not Now can add value to the client - be that in their digital presence, platforms or processes.

You will have a good understanding of emerging digital news and trends and the opportunities they present our clients. You will have a solid understanding of web and content development, and take a responsive and iterative approach to the work. You have experience of working for or with ethically and socially-driven organisations and you are comfortable communicating, presenting and keeping in contact with senior executives and decision makers – acting as the face of If Not Now and the ultimate escalation point on projects and opportunities.

You know how to look for opportunities, and are comfortable making connections and building relationships that ultimately result in new business opportunities for If Not Now.


  • Build strong, long-term client relationships and maintain frequent contact

  • Manage and lead campaigns across a range of clients

  • Develop campaign strategy and write proposals for new projects

  • Managing social channels (from scheduling content, community building, networking and interactions, advertising and monitoring progress)

  • Content creation and copywriting for social channels, websites, newsletters, third-party publications and blogs

  • Familiarising yourself with, using and suggesting new third party digital marketing applications

  • Monitoring Google Analytics, social media insights and other third party application data

  • Leading and taking part in brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for client campaigns

  • Leading projects and ensuring the clients on the projects that you lead are kept up-to-date with progress

  • Managing employees and freelancers on projects

  • Line managing new employees as the company grows

  • Attending regular (usually weekly) team meetings

  • Monthly check ins with line manager

  • Helping the Directors manage internal business affairs

  • Present innovative digital ideas and concepts to clients

  • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends

  • Necessary administrative tasks from time to time

  • Managing and prioritising own workload 

Due to the nature of our small agency, it is crucial for you to take initiative, be extremely organised and time efficient. You will be getting involved with all types of digital marketing services including social media, content creation, channel management, community building, influencer research and outreach, advertising, blog writing as well as liaising with clients.




  • Alignment to our company ethos and values

  • A sound knowledge of social media and digital marketing theory

  • A sound understanding of five primary social media channels and their personal and professional applications: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn

  • A good knowledge of email marketing, with a basic level of ability using Mailchimp and other newsletter software

  • A good understanding of end-to-end web and digital content development and project management, from initial scoping and brief, through to resourcing, delivery and reporting on progress.

  • At least three years’ full time experience (or equivalent) in a digital marketing organisation or on digital marketing projects.

  • In-depth knowledge of the environmental and social issues we’re working on

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a GCSE English qualification, or equivalent

  • Strongly computer literate including proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint

  • Initiative, self-motivation and an eagerness to learn

  • Ability to work on a number of tasks simultaneously and to deadlines

  • Ability to successfully work in a team and autonomously

  • Strong analytical skills


  • A reasonable understanding of other social media channels and their professional application: Pinterest, Tumblr, Snapchat, Vimeo, etc.

  • Confidence in using Canva, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.

  • A basic level of ability using Wix platform and/or other CMS systems

  • A basic understanding of HTML or coding

  • Experience in using or developing mobile applications

  • Experience in teaching or training digital marketing and its broad application (to groups or individuals).
